OUR PREPARATION

We have one ultimate goal at Auto Centre and that is to supply new and pre-owned vehicles at the highest possible standard. But getting there endures great effort!

Every vehicle that we purchase is viewed by myself (Stuart) or Philip prior to purchase, we go to great lengths to ensure our stock has sustained no previous accident damage or that the vehicle has not been abused and neglected in anyway, over the years we have walked away from many potential profit opportunities simply because the vehicle in our mind just wasn’t up to standard.

In this day and age with road and climate conditions it’s very difficult to find a used vehicle that doesn’t have some kind of imperfection; most used cars have paintwork issues caused by stone chipping, bird lime, tree sap and iron contamination. Interiors are far harder wearing in this day and age but still always need cleaning. Other main issues with used cars are kerbed alloy wheels, bumper scuffs and marks on the mirrors…….all of which we repair prior to presentation.

Once a car comes into stock the process begins……

We spend on average eight hours on each vehicle simply valeting it, from start to finish the majority of our cars will go through a lengthy process of machine polishing and interior deep shampooing, we polish the door shuts, we power wash the mats and we even treat the engine bay…. each inch of the car gets cleaned and treated with the top products on the market…
